IF412

The compact IF412 light sensor is optimized to detect the ambient light similar to the human eye. The brightness data is available via an I²C interface.

Our Prisma and Artista TFT controllers can then automatically adjust the display brightness to the measured ambient brightness. This ensures an optimum readability of the content and prevents eye strain caused by a too bright or too dark display.

In addition, the perfect adaptation of the display brightness saves power: automatic dimming always ensures the lowest possible power consumption of the backlight for optimum readability.
