What to Look For With an Optical Bonding Company

If you’re looking for an optical bonding expert to help optically bond your screens, make sure you are putting the job in the hands of a reliable company. Here’s what you need to know before hiring a company for your optical bonding needs:

Positive Reviews

If a company is considered reliable, they’ll have reviews or references from people or companies that have used their services. Make sure to look online or connect with a company and ask for examples of their work or reviews from clients to determine their value and expertise.

Experience with Optical Bonding

The optical bonding process is not an easy one. It requires precision and the right tools for it to be completed without any problems. A team of expertly trained specialists are best when it comes to ensuring your screens are correctly optically bonded.

Their Process

When it comes to optical bonding, there are two different types of bonding that can be done: liquid or dry. With liquid optical bonding, it is completed using a transparent, liquid adhesive that takes the LCD panels and adheres them to the custom touch screen device. UV Radiation is then used to solidify the process and give you a strong optical bond.

With dry optical bonding, it is done without using UV radiation. The dry process binds the LCD panel to the touch screen using a combination of pressure and heat to place the panels into your device to protect it, creating a strong bond. The dry optical bonding process eliminates the chances for messy and imperfect results that need to be further examined, cleaned up, and possibly redone.
